My first experience with them was grim at best after it took them about 5 days to return my call about advertising. When they did call the lady tried to sell me a website after I told her I build websites for small business’s.  I did want to see the designs they built but they do not have a list of designs that I could find.

I tried again today to talk to AT&T about  a website and i got the dreaded message “  Due to high volumes of call your call wait time may be 20 minutes.” This will be your biggest issue dealing with a corporate company. Don’t forget that they also play messages in spanish also… so just to get tech support seems like a long process.

Reasons Not to  build your site with AT&T

  • Bad Customer Service wait time..
  • They are corporate  and not a grassroots business like mine
  • They are very limited  with design
  • They place a huge ad for website design in the Yellow Pages.. Of course they own it but is that fair…?

Reasons to choice a homegrown Grassroots company for design

  • Fast Customer respond time
  • Grassroots local company that most likely went to college for Design
  • Custom design that will make your website stand out  from others
  • Supports Local Business rather than a Corporate company that already makes  over 2 billion a year…
