What is good to use for your domain name?  What I have read and heard others chatting about it is keyword targeting in your domain name! For example one of my sites is www.cuilinaryherbseeds.com. The name has three keywords that I wanted to target in it! So naturally it ranks high for the 3 word phrase.

You can have a domain that is easy to remember with a bad keyword or no keyword and still get traffic though. If you name your perma-links right and target your keyword phrase just right it may happen.  You can also just get lucky and build a viral site that catches on fire! It may be a service or informative site or just a plain funny blog! Many people build temp sites and get lucky and it turns into more. You just got to test the water!

It can take years to build up a site and get traffic so grab a cup of joe and take your time! Or you might just get lucky and build a hit right off the bat!
