So you want to start a site and need a good domain name! Without a good domain you may not get the natural traffic you need to your site! Why is natural traffic good? Because it is free and keyword targeted, which means more profit more money!

What is good to use for your domain name? What I have read and heard others chatting about it is keyword targeting in your domain name! For example one of my sites is www.cuilinaryherbseeds.com. The name has three keywords that I wanted to target in it! So naturally it ranks high for the 3 word phrase.

You can have a domain that is easy to remember with a bad keyword or no keyword and still get traffic though. If you name your perma-links right and target your keyword phrase just right it may happen. You can also just get lucky and build a viral site that catches on fire! It may be a service or informative site or just a plain funny blog! Many people build temp sites and get lucky and it turns into more. You just got to test the water!

It can take years to build up a site and get traffic so grab a cup of joe and take your time! Or you might just get lucky and build a hit right off the bat!

Link building is one of most important things you can do for your site! The more links you have the bigger your site looks to the spiders, which index your site for the search engines! Search engines will rank your site higher if you have more 2 way linking from higher PR sites. So in other words the more high PR sites that link to you and you link to them the stronger your presence is to search engines.
